NORFOLK, Va. — A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged following a deadly shooting in Norfolk on Wednesday, police say.
Around 11 p.m., police say they got a call about a shooting in the 1900 block of Greenleaf Drive where they found Miyett A. Little Jr., 23, who died at the scene.
Lamont C. Whitaker was charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm following an investigation.
He is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond and detectives have yet to release a motive or any additional circumstances surrounding this shooting.
