NORFOLK, Va. — A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Norfolk Wednesday morning, police said.
The woman, identified Thursday as Connie Council, 62, was hit around the intersection of Church and East 27th streets around 4:30 a.m.
She died at the hospital, police say.
The driver was on scene and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.
