NORFOLK, Va. — A 28-year-old man is charged with murder following a deadly shooting on Little Creek Road on Saturday, Norfolk police said.
Police were called to a Wawa on East Little Creek Road just before 6 a.m. on Saturday for a gunshot victim. That man, 37-year-old Micah Bell, was taken to the hospital where investigators say he later died.
Shortly after officers located Bell, police say a second gunshot victim was located at a Wawa on North Military Highway. That victim is expected to survive.

Investigators determined the two victims are connected and that the shooting incident itself happened on East Little Creek Road near Halprin Drive.
28-year-old Miquail Owens has been charged with on second degree murder and use of a firearm. Police say that, as of Sunday, Owens is still in the hospital with injuries but is expected to be transported to the Norfolk City Jail and held without bond.
On Monday, News 3 learned Bell worked at The COVE: Veterinarian and Animal Hospital in Suffolk.
Co-workers sent News 3 statements sharing their memories of Bell and saying they are shocked and saddened by his death.
One said, in part, "I just want to say Micah was one of the hardest working and most humble people I have ever met."
Another co-worker said, "There are not enough words to describe who Micah was. He was always such a positive light - always laughing, smiling, and joking. I’ll miss seeing him at work and it truly won’t be the same without him there. He was the type of person that could make you smile no matter what type of day you were having."
