NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Police are searching for a vehicle they say hit and killed a bicyclist Saturday morning in Newport News.
Newport News police said the crash happened around 6:15 a.m. near Harpersville Road and Jefferson Avenue. They said the man who was riding the bike died at the scene.
Police did not immediately release any suspect information, and they said their crash team is investigating.
