HAMPTON, Va. — Firefighters have responded to the 400 block on Joy Drive in Hampton for a house fire.
News 3 is at the scene, where we could see smoke coming from the roof of a home.
The back of the home was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived around 4 a.m.
We spoke with Captain Marc Lavine around 6:15 a.m., who gave us an update on the situation. You can watch that below.

The fire does not seem suspicious in nature, according to Captain Lavine.
Captain Lavine confirmed that no firefighters were injured and that one person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and later released.
