CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Two people were rescued Saturday morning after a home fire in Chesapeake.
Chesapeake firefighters received a call at 3:58 a.m. for a reported fire on the side of the home on Midway Avenue.
Two adults were rescued from the structure and received immediate medical attention. Both rescued occupants were transported to a local hospital.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
