CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A police pursuit of a reported stolen vehicle ended in a rollover crash Wednesday morning on Route 168 in Chesapeake, police said.
One lane in each direction was temporarily closed due to the incident but have since reopened.
When an officer attempted a traffic stop, police said, the driver did not comply and led police on a "brief pursuit."
The vehicle crashed near the exit on Battlefield Boulevard and the driver sustained minor injuries.
The driver was taken into custody.
