CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A woman in Chesapeake is dead as officers responded to a call Friday that someone had been shot, according to CPD.
Police say the call came in around 3:28 p.m. and the woman was dead when they arrived on the scene.
According to the CPD, one person has been detained as a part of an active investigation.
