CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A decomposing body was found by contractors working on McCloud Road in Chesapeake Thursday morning, police said Friday.
The contractors were working on a nearby tower when they spotted the body and called authorities.
The body was in "advanced stages" of decomposition, police said, and is being evaluated by medical examiners.
No identifying information on the body was provided.
