HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton Police are investigating a shooting that took place near an elementary school on Saturday.
Police say they received multiple calls regarding a shooting around 4:55 p.m., in the 2000 block of Andrews Boulevard near Carey Elementary School.
When police arrived to the scene they discovered shell casings and witnesses, but there were no victims.
At 5:12 p.m., a 20-year-old man who had been shot walked into Sentara Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Police are still investigating and say there is no suspect at this time.
