NORFOLK, Va. - A farmers market is coming to Ghent!
The Ghent Business Association announced this week the creation of Ghent Farmers’ Market, which will take place on the first and third Friday of the month starting in April 2021.
The market will be located on Colley Avenue & Spotswood in front of Blair Middle School and will be open from 4-7 p.m.
The goal of the Ghent Business Association is to attract local farmers and vendors to showcase all local products at this venue, which is within easy walking distance to all the surrounding neighborhoods.
The farmers market will be free and open to the public.
If you're interested in selling your products at the market, the Ghent Business Association is now accepting applications. The market will follow all COVID-19 guidelines, and there will be a limited amount of booths available.
Interested vendors should apply as soon as possible. You can get an application by emailing Lori Golding Zontini a Ghentfarmersmarketnfk@gmail.com.
