Chesapeake Shoney's offering free curbside pickup meals for hospitality workers

CHESAPEAKE, Va. - If you work in the hospitality industry and have been affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Shoney's is here to provide some relief.

The Shoney's in Chesapeake will give out free curbside pickup meals for affected industry workers on Thursday, March 26.

Employees will be distributing the meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. while supplies last.

All you have to do is show up. There's a four-meal limit.

“This is a time to step up and give back,” said Jennifer Ford, marketing director for Shoney’s in Chesapeake. “We are all in this together through good times and tough times and we want to make sure we treat those impacted with a warm meal from Shoney’s. Shoney’s is the ultimate team player and wants to extend its best wishes for good health along with a great meal served safely.”

The restaurant is located at 721 N. Battlefield Boulevard.
