ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - A building's roof collapsed at Mid-Atlantic Christian University Saturday afternoon, however no injuries were reported.
Around 11:15 a.m., the university's main classroom building's, Heritage Hall, roof collapsed. Officials believe the collapse was caused due to a roofing company placing their shingles in one location.
According to officials, the building has not had any previous structural impairment. School officials confirmed that everyone has safely been accounted for and no injuries were reported.
