CHESAPEAKE, Va. - A community came together on Sunday to show love to a Norfolk Depuity who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

His wife said Jason Giovenco-Montano recently found out that he had stage 4 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and that this is his fourth time fighting it.

She said Giovenco-Montano is a 12 year law enforcement veteran.

The group organized the parade to lift his spirits in just a day and it did not disappoint.

"We all love Gio, he's a ball of inspiration to all of us. He's always willing to help," Lieutenant Tracie Mitchell said.
