NORFOLK, Va. — A 25-year-old woman is charged with murder in a shooting that left another woman dead in Norfolk early Saturday morning.
A call for a shooting came in just before 2:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of E. Little Creek Road, police said. At the scene, officers found a woman with a gunshot injury.
The victim died at the scene, police said.
Later Saturday evening, police said they arrested and charged 25-year-old Nildaliz Flores-Roman with second-degree murder and use of a firearm. Flores-Roman was being held without bond at the Norfolk City Jail.
The victim's identification will be released once next-of-kin have been notified.
Police did not release any details about the relationship between the suspect or the victim.
