The Virginia Department of Health released their daily updated numbers involving coronavirus cases within the state.
According to their website, there are now 62,787 total cases, 60,124 of which are confirmed and 2,663 are probable. There are 1,763 total coronavirus related deaths, with 1,658 being confirmed and 105 being probable.
The case numbers are up by 598, and deaths are up by 23 sinceMonday.
The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association also updated their numbers. As of Tuesday, there are 547 people currently being hospitalized for coronavirus. There are 355 people currently receiving inpatient hospital care whose test results are pending. 230 confirmed positive patients, and those whose test results are pending, are currently hospitalized in the ICU.
98 hospital patients, both confirmed for coronavirus, and those with test results pending, are currently on a ventilator. 615 ventilators are being used in hospitals out of the 3,034 in the state - that's 20% usage.
8,080 patients who have been hospitalized for coronavirus have been discharged.

- James City County 263 cases, 58 hospitalized, 15 deaths (+5 cases from Monday)
- Newport News 523 cases, 44 hospitalized, 10 deaths (+10 cases from Monday)
- Poquoson 19 cases, 2 hospitalized, 0 deaths (+0 cases from Monday)
- Williamsburg 60 cases, 12 hospitalized, 6 deaths (+4 cases from Monday)
