HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Rite Aid is opening two new COVID-19 self swab testing sites in Hampton Roads.

The sites are in both Newport News at 671 J. Clyde Morris Blvd. and Williamsburg located at 4501 News Road.

Leaders at Rite Aid say each testing site will have self-swab tests overseen by their pharmacists and will operate through the store’s drive-through window.

You have to be 18 years of age or older to take one of the test. You do not have to be showing any symptoms. However, organizers tell News 3 that you will have to pre-register online in order to schedule an appointment.

Leaders at Rite Aid say in addition to Virginia, they are also opening testing sites in Michigan, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
