NORFOLK, Va. - A child has died after suffering serious injuries related to a crash in Norfolk Saturday afternoon.
Police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian on Pickett Road.
According to Norfolk Police, officers were called around 1:35 p.m.
When officers arrived they found a 7-year-old girl suffering from life-threatening injuries. She was taken to CHKD was she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car remained on the scene. Norfolk Police are investigating.
