NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — No one was hurt when a plane skidded off the runway at the Newport News Williamsburg Airport Tuesday morning.
It happened around 8:05 a.m. when Sergeant Michelle Anaya said none of the three occupants were hurt. The damage from the crash is minimal.
The plane in question was a small jet. It crashed when trying to land on the airport's runway. The plane then skidded off of the runway and was left with a blown tire.
