The Virginia Department of Transportation said the account stopped tweeting due to the recent changes on the platform.
For real-time traffic updates, the Virginian Department of Transportation suggests visiting 511Virginia.org, downloading the free VDOT 511 Virginia Traffic app or signing up for mobile 511 text alerts.
