HAMPTON, Va. — A 19-year-old Virginia Beach man is charged with murder following a shooting that killed a man Sunday night on St. George Way in Hampton.

Hampton police said officers got multiple calls about shots being fired just before 7:40 p.m.

Police said an investigation shows Tayvion Williams, 20, of Norfolk, and Michael Goffigan, 19, of Virginia Beach, were in an altercation when they both pulled out firearms and began shooting at each other. Williams and Goffigan were both hit.
