Motorcyclist killed in 2-vehicle crash on Lynnhaven Dr. in VB: Police

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Police are searching for answers after a man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday night.

On December 21, shortly after 5:14 p.m., crash investigators from the Virginia Beach Police Department responded to a report of a two-vehicle crashinvolving a motorcycle in the 800 block of Lynnhaven Parkway.

Christopher Morrison, 53, of Norfolk, was travelling northbound when his motorcycle impacted a vehicle entering Lynnhaven Parkway, crossing the northbound travel lanes, according to police.

Morrison was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene by responding EMS personnel.

This case is being actively investigated by VBPD Special Operations, Traffic Safety Unit.
