VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Virginia Beach city manager's most recent briefing discussed a new tourism campaign Tuesday that will feature help from Pharrell Williams.
The city council meeting discussed the city's future plans for welcoming tourists as part of a campaign that highlights community involvement and pride by showcasing the work of Virginia Beach residents.
With the "Something in the Water" music festival right around the corner, the city plans to instill pride in the community while still welcoming all visitors.
Pharrell, a Virginia Beach native, is set to assist in the new campaign with an original song.
Pharrell's song, called "Virginia," will be the theme of the city's tourism campaign.
