HAMPTON ROADS, Va.— For more than 35 years, engineering students have participated in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Vehicle Technology Competitions. The EcoCar EV Challenge is a four-year competition for students to develop the next generation of battery electric vehicles. Students from Virginia Tech are a part of this challenge to make advances in the BEV industry.
