HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Local shelters are joining forces from February 9 - 16 to recognize Homeless Animal Awareness Week (#HAAW #HR4PETS), where they will take to social media to educate the community about animal homelessness. Representatives from the Portsmouth Humane Society, Chesapeake Animal Services, Virginia Beach SPCA and the Chesapeake Humane Society join us with their furry companions to talk more about this call to action.
