    Suffolk police say it was a Chesapeake man whose body was found in a busy shopping center Wednesday morning. Police have identified him as 53-year-old Steven Young. “Myself, I’m not used to this; it’s a scary situation”, says Sonny Robinson, who watched police conduct their investigation.     Lifeguards at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront were busy over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, rescuing 30 people from the rough water. The number is above average for this time of year, according to Deputy Chief Tom Gill with Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service.     Approximately 45 children have no place for daycare for the time being after fire tore through part of a Norfolk church last night. The church run daycare at Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church is on hold because of smoke and water damage near the child care area. It may be a week before it can resume services.     A construction contractor for VDOT is recovering from serious injuries after he was hit by a car on I-64 in a work zone. It happened just before the Northampton Boulevard exit westbound. He was part of a pothole repair crew.     In Virginia Beach, a condo caught fire early this morning and neighbors say a couple in their 80s died. Through Facebook, members of Old Donation Church are identifying the deceased couple as Ben and Pat Joyce, longtime members of the church.
