Alton Worley II is a multimedia journalist, producer, graphic designer, and photographer. Alton was born and raised in Hampton Roads, Virginia and attended Hampton University. Alton spent three years at Hampton University graduating in Spring 2021 when he was 20-years-old.

At Hampton University, Alton was able to hone his writing, production, and graphic skills from the many classes he took, hands-on experience with the sports media production staff at HU, and an internship with NBCUniversal Inc.

Alton’s internship with NBCUniversal Inc. was very insightful to the career path he aspired to take. After shadowing his mentor for a year, the position of Campus Representative was offered to him. Alton served as the on-campus liaison and his position allowed him to learn what it takes to meet deadlines, produce/advertise mainstream digital content, and plan/host exclusive events.

Alton found his passion for writing and producing through his love of entertainment. At the Hampton Script newspaper, he became an entertainment staff writer which allowed Alton to use his writing talents and love for entertainment to find his niche with not only multimedia journalism, but the entertainment industry as well.

Shortly after graduating, he received a full offer to continue advancing his career with The E.W. Scripps Company, one of the nation’s largest local television broadcasters, at WTKR News 3 in Norfolk, Virginia as a Digital Content Producer, which is where he currently works.

In Alton’s spare time, he works as a freelance writer, editor, and graphic designer.
