UPDATE:
Bill Jessee Park is a private park, owned by the HarbourView Homeowners Association. It is only accessible for the people who live in the 1700 homes in the HarbourView community in Suffolk.

Northern Suffolk is growing like crazy, with new restaurants, businesses and neighborhoods, but that doesn't mean there aren't still places to get out and walk.
I took a walk around Bill Jessee Park in the HarbourView area of the city.
There's a lot to like about this small park even in the winter when there's not a lot that's blooming.

It's right in the middle of about a half dozen neighborhoods, so it's super convenient for a lot of folks.
The four-acre park has a large gazebo at its center, and below that, there's a small amphitheater overlooking one of several lakes in this neighborhood.
It was a nice place to take a breather and enjoy the sounds of the fountain. I can imagine it's a cooler spot to hang out during the hotter summer months.

I checked out the park's walking paths. For those of you looking to walk here too, just know that you may have to share the path with golf carts because there are plenty of golf courses scattered throughout HarbourView.
I think my favorite feature is this little tunnel that runs under North River Road. It leads to another nice lake that's a short walk away. The tunnel gave me Hobbit vibes.
There's also a popular playground at Bill Jessee Park and plenty of parking.
