NORFOLK, Va. — The holiday season kicks off this week at the Virginia Zoo with a visit from the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan!

The caravan will be set up outside of the zoo gates on Nov. 15 from noon to 3 p.m.

Coca-Cola describes the caravan as "loaded with holiday gifts, delicious Coca-Cola products and even Santa himself," according to the zoo.

Holiday enthusiasts are invited to come visit and take a free photo with Santa, enjoy musical performances from Norfolk Academy students and shop around a mini holiday market featuring zoo treats!

Guests will also be able to enter a giveaway for a large, plush Coca-Cola polar bear with proof of same-day zoo attendance or zoo purchase, according to the Virginia Zoo.

Want a snack and a quick pick-me-up?

Bear House Coffee and Nothing Bundt Cake will also be onsite to serve sweets and warm beverages!

Virginia Zoo members will also have another opportunity to see Santa from Dec. 15-17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the annual train rides with Santa event!

Santa will be posing for free photos near the Beazley Train Station, and guests will be able to ride on the zoo's new electric train with him to get into the holiday spirit!

The Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan event is free and open to the public, but visitors will need to purchase zoo tickets if they wish to enter the zoo gates.
