NORFOLK, Va. - A holiday tradition is back at Norfolk Botanical Garden...and it's bigger and brighter than ever!

The Dominion Energy Garden of Lights opens Friday and is scheduled to run through December 31.

This year, there will be more than 1.5 million lights brightening the garden's beautiful trails each night. Once again, families can bring their dogs on Sunday "Barks and Bulbs" events. New this year are vendors Bear House Coffee Roasters and Duck Donuts.

According to Norfolk Botanical Garden, more than 100,000 walked through the award-winning light show last year.

This marks the 29th year of what's become a holiday tradition for the region and a display that continues to attract worldwide recognition. Simplemost named the Garden of Lights to its international list of "12 magical Christimas displays to add to your holiday bucket list."

Tickets start at $15 for adults and $10 for kids for families who are members. Non-member prices start at $20 for adults ($18 for military) and $12 for kids. However, prices increase a few dollars each for "premium" nights.
