VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The newly opened Pups & Pints in Virginia Beach is bustling with people, dogs, and beer, but local muralist Corinna Sayward helped bring some more color to the building.

"I just wanted it to be simple, but abstract and they really gave me creative freedom and I'm really grateful for that," Sayward said.

Sayward designed and painted two murals at the business.

"We added some fun dog silhouettes on the top of the colorful abstract design that I did," Sayward said.

One mural is 25 feet, the other 12 feet, and Sayward helped bring a bit of a personal touch to the murals.

"If you look at the types of dogs, they're actually the three dogs that belong to the owners. So, I kind of gave it a personal feel as well," Sayward said.

Sayward said it took just under three weeks to complete both murals.
