VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The F.A.C.T. Autism Resource Center held a ribbon cutting on Wednesday for a new facility in Virginia Beach.

Multiple partners will have a residency in the new building, like Sentara, Commonwealth Autism, Autism Society Tidewater Virginia, Social Butterflies Club, and more.

The new facility has a gymnasium, a sensory gym complete with equipment from Sentara, an activity hall and a quiet room.

F.A.C.T. says their mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families in the greater Tidewater area.

"Support from the community is instrumental to our success in helping people with autism," F.A.C.T. said in a release.

F.A.C.T. provides social and recreational programs that enhance social and communication skills and promote community integration.

The new facility's address is 3509 Virginia Beach Blvd. For more information on the center, click here.
