NORFOLK, Va. — It’s already been two decades since the movie 'Elf' premiered! In honor of the Christmas movie’s 20th anniversary, 'Elf in Concert' is touring the country and making a stop in Hampton Roads along the way.

Elf in Concert is coming to Chrysler Hall in December, where the Virginia Symphony Orchestra will perform composer John Debney’s iconic score featured in the movie.

“Writing [Elf’s] score was a true highlight of my career. Seeing the joy that the music and film brings to audiences each year is truly wonderful,” said Debney. “Elf has really become a modern classic and bringing this into concert halls worldwide is an absolute honor.”

Organizers say during the performance, the movie will be projected on a giant screen.

The concert is scheduled for Friday, December 8, at 7 p.m. Tickets, which go on sale this Friday, August 4, are available for purchase online at Ticketmaster.com and in-person at the Scope Arena Box Office.
