VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The sixth annual VIBE Mural Fest is coming back to the Oceanfront, running from Aug. 19th to the 28th.
Murals have become a large part of what makes the Oceanfront's art district a standout in the community.
Executive Director of the VIBE District Kate Pittman says the Fest helps the streets come back to life.
"We say come out here and watch the streets come alive. When the artists are painting the community is rallying behind them, there is so much energy. It's such a good vibe, pun intended," Pittman says.
Pittman encourages everyone to come to the art district, take selfies, and have a great time in the community with their friends and family. Between retail, distilleries, restaurants, coffee shops, and of course the art, anyone coming to VIBE is guaranteed a great time.
Meteorologist April Loveland will be featuring murals and artists every week. If you're a muralist, or know a muralist, you can send their information to news@wtkr.com
