HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - If you are just counting down until the weekend we’re here to help. News 3 has three things you can do around Hampton Roads.
How about a race across the Elizabeth River?
Portsmouth is hosting it's second annual 'Paddle Battle' this Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Kayakers and Paddle boarders will race one another from High Street Basin to Hammerhead Crane on the shipyard and back.
Even if you're not out on the water, we are told there will be plenty of live music, good food, drinks and games to play with the family.
How about exploring the great unknown?
The Virginia Living Museum is hosting a stargazing night for all ages.
For just $8 a person, you can explore the galaxy alongside a local astronomer.
That's happening on Saturday at 6 p.m. There are also laser shows afterwards for you and the family to attend.
Neptune Festival: 25th Annual Fall Wine Festival
