Norfolk Admirals Opening Night
Hockey is returning to the mermaid city! The Norfolk Scope Arena is prepping the ice for the admiral's return tomorrow. The team faces off against the South Carolina Stingrays. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
Tickets cost $15. If you miss Friday’s game, the Admirals are back in town next weekend.
University Homecomings
Two major universities are welcoming alumni back to Hampton Roads. It's homecoming week for Hampton University and Old Dominion University.
Hampton University's Parade is happening Saturday at 10 a.m., and then the Pirates take on the Richmond Spiders at 2 p.m.
Old Dominion University is hosting its homecoming parade at 11 a.m., and face off against Georgia Southern University at 3:30 p.m.
Down in the Outer Banks, the 11th Annual Bluegrass Island Music Festival kicks off today!
It's happening in Manteo at The Roanoke Island Festival Park, October 20 – 22. More than a dozen bands will be performing throughout the weekend. There's also food, fun games, vendors and more.
