Hampton Restaurant Week

If you want a delicious meal for a deal, look no further than Hampton Restaurant Week! It's underway for the second week in a row, and nearly 20 downtown restaurants will have customized menus ranging in price. Participating restaurants include the Vanguard Brew Pub, Mango Mangeaux, Scratch Bakery and Baked Bistro. The city's restaurant week ends this Sunday, March 19.

Norfolk Admirals vs. Wheeling Nailers

The Admirals face off against the Wheeling Nailers three days this week at the Norfolk Scope Arena. You can watch them in action on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets to the game start at $15.

Norfolk St. Patrick’s Day Parade

While the official date of St. Patrick’s Day is Friday, March 17, for the first time in three years, the Saint Patrick's Day Parade is set to happen on Saturday in the mermaid city. It starts at 10 a.m. at Northside Middle School and ends at 1st View and Government Ave. The parade is free to attend.

National Pi Day

Tuesday, March 14 is National Pi Day. The day is meant to celebrate the mathematical constant 3.14, but it is often used as an excuse to give some great deals on pizza pies. Locally, Ynot Italian is having a special where you can get $3.14 off of certain pies. Other chains, including Sbarro, Domino's, Marco's, Papa Johns and more have special Pi Day deals on Tuesday as well.

Angry, Raucous and Shamelessly Gorgeous

Angry, Raucous and Shamelessly Gorgeous is back at the Wells Theatre this week. It's about a woman returning to act in the show that made her famous, only to find out she's being replaced by a younger star. Shows will run from Wednesday to Sunday. Tickets range from $25 to $45.

Engage Norfolk

This Sunday, March 19, there’s an opportunity for those living in Norfolk to engage with their surrounding community. The 6th annual "Engage Norfolk" event is happening from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Scope Exhibition Hall. It's a free chance to meet more than 100 organizations throughout the mermaid city. You can also meet board members and city lawmakers.
