Sharks After Dark at the Virginia Aquarium
The Virginia Aquarium is hosting a "Sharks After Dark" event. This Thursday, you can enjoy food, drinks and all the exhibits. Attendees must be at least 21 years old. Tickets start at around $30, but it is free for aquarium members. Tickets need to be purchased online in advance.

Destination Dinosaur
You can take a trip to prehistoric times with Destination Dinosaur! The popular exhibit is back at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News. You and the family can take a trip through history and enjoy eight animatronic dinosaurs and several living fossils. You have just over one month before the exhibit closes in September.

Tides vs. Knights
If you want to enjoy a ball game with man's best friend, Tuesday night is Bark at the Park at Harbor Park! The first 500 fans entering with their pups will get a free rope toy. The Tides will be kicking off a seven-game series against the Charlotte Knights. Tickets start at $15 for humans and $5 for dogs, with all dog ticket proceeds going to the Suffolk Humane Society.

Beach Blanket Cinema
If you want to enjoy a movie on the beach, this Thursday you can head out to 29th Street in Virginia Beach! Oceanfront Eats will be showing "The Princess and the Frog" for free! You can bring your blankets and chairs, and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Oceanfront Eats will provide snacks as well.

Summer Nights at Busch Gardens
Summer Nights at Busch Gardens run until August 13. Parkgoers get to experience Busch Gardens after dark, with light-up coasters, fireworks, and a concert series. This week's performance is Larger Than Life: The Ultimate Boy Band Experience, and they'll take the stage at 7 p.m. on Saturday. On top of that, all members aged 21 and up will get a free beer, and non-members can get beer for just 50 cents. Tickets will cost the same as normal admission.

High School Reunion Tour
Snoop Dogg is coming to Virginia Beach! His "High School Reunion Tour" stops at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater this weekend. Wiz Khalifa and Too Short are also slated to perform. Tickets start at around $47 for lawn seats and the show starts at 6 p.m.

Langley Speedway
If racing is more your speed, Langley Speedway is in the middle of the season and they have another set of races coming up this Saturday. It'll feature eight different local series with races beginning around 7 p.m. Tickets start at $20 dollars and discounts are available for children and military members.

"Meet Your Princess" Lunch Cruise
This Sunday, you can enjoy a buffet cruise with some of your family's favorite princesses. City Cruises is hosting a "Meet Your Princess" lunch cruise! Boarding begins at 12:30 p.m. and the ship departs at 1 p.m. Attendees can enjoy a lunch buffet with unlimited drinks and live entertainment, including princesses from the Hurrah Players singing. Tickets start at around $47. Also, there is a dress code for the kids - they should wear their favorite fairytale outfit!

Water Lantern Festival
At Mount Trashmore this weekend, you can enjoy the peace and fun of the Water Lantern Festival. It starts at 5:30 p.m. and will feature live music and food trucks. You get to design your own lantern and launch them at 8:30 p.m.! Tickets start at $27 if you order ahead and $46 at the door. There are discounts for military and children.

Virginia Beach Tattoo Festival
This weekend, dozens of tattoo artists will be at the Oceanfront for the Virginia Beach Tattoo Festival. It'll be Friday through Sunday at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. There will be artists, tons of vendors, and plenty of food options. Tickets are $25 for a day and $45 for the whole weekend. Everyone is welcome, but you must be 18 or older to get a tattoo.
