Norfolk Admirals vs. Greenville Swamp Rabbits

The hockey season continues this week! The Norfolk Admirals are back in the mermaid city to take on the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at the Norfolk Scope Arena. They have games this Friday and Saturday. Tickets start at $15.

One City Marathon

The One City Marathon is back in Newport News this week! This is the ninth year for the race, which is sponsored by Newport News Shipbuilding. There's a maritime 5K, a half marathon and a full marathon happening throughout the weekend. You will need to register ahead of time. Registration costs start at $20.

"Come From Away"

Another Tony-winning musical is coming to Hampton Roads! This week, you'll have several chances to see "Come From Away" at Chrysler Hall. The show details the true story of the days following 9-11 and the thousands of American passengers stranded in a Canadian city. Opening night is Tuesday and tickets start at $40.

Angry, Raucous & Shamelessly Gorgeous

Angry, Raucous and Shamelessly Gorgeous debuts this week at the Wells Theatre. It's about a woman returning to act in a show that made her famous, only to find out she's being replaced by a younger star. Opening night is March 1, and there will be several shows running until March 19. Tickets range from $25 to $45.

Elizabeth City ‘First Friday’ Artwalk

We are quickly approaching the first Friday of March, which means Elizabeth City is hosting its 'First Friday Artwalk.' Each month features a new artist and new activities throughout town. It starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m.

Coast Guard Marathon

The annual Coast Guard Marathon is happening this weekend in Elizabeth City. It kicks off on Thursday, March 2 and runs through Saturday, March 4. There will be a 5K, a half marathon and a full marathon. Interested participants will need to register ahead of time.

Olde Towne Antique and Flea Market

Olde Towne in Portsmouth is hosting its monthly Antique and Flea Market. Rain or shine, there will be more than 70 vendors on site selling everything from furniture to instruments to handmade crafts. It's happening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, and it's free to attend.

La Traviata

How about a sophisticated night at the opera? The Italian opera 'La Traviata' opens this weekend at the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk. The romantic tragedy runs Friday through Sunday. Tickets start at $34.
