ROANOKE, Va. – Virginia State Police has canceled a Senior Alert for an 82-year-old woman who had been missing Wednesday evening.

The Roanoke City Police Department was looking for Mary Moore Gates, who had been last seen at 7 p.m. when she left her home on Windsor Avenue Southwest in Roanoke.
State Police did not go into detail about how Gates was found.
