NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Officials worked an apartment fire Tuesday afternoon.
Crews were on scene in the 200 block of Tricia Lane. The fire appeared to have started in the the kitchen, reports say.
One occupant was treated and transported to a local hospital for injuries.
The fire was confined to one unit with smoke damage to other units.
There are no further details at this time.
