KITTY HAWK, N.C. – A Newport News man wanted on charges related to a DWI incident in Kitty Hawk was arrested on August 20.
Officers with the Newport News Police Department arrested Thomas Lester Ellis, who was wanted for Injury to Real Property, First Degree Trespassing and Defrauding an Innkeeper in connection with an incident that happened on August 5.
Ellis was then taken back to North Carolina.
Kitty Hawk Police attribute Ellis’ arrest to Virginia residents who saw their original Facebook post and led police to the suspect.
