Police raid four Virginia Beach massage parlors as part of human trafficking investigation

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Police executed search warrants at four different massage parlors in Virginia Beach Thursday as part of a human trafficking investigation involving Homeland Security Investigations.

All four locations are called Massage.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) executed search warrants at businesses at the following locations:

  • 1143 Independence Boulevard
  • 1581 General Booth Boulevard #103
  • 4676 Princess Anne Road #130
  • 5277 Princess Anne Road #323

Virginia Beach Police did not release many details but said, "This is a joint effort between Homeland Security Investigations and the Virginia Beach Police Department to identify, stop and deter Human Trafficking in our area and to identify potential victims."

Multiple police cars - both marked and unmarked - reported to the business at 5277 Princess Anne Road.

According to people who work around the business, multiple people were seen detained by law enforcement. Officials have not confirmed this.

Police also confirmed they raided a second massage parlor in the 1100 block of Independence Boulevard.

News 3 has reached out to Homeland Security Investigations, which is part of the U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement agency, who stated the same information that was relayed to News 3 reporter Brian Hill while he was on scene.

On June 14, police arrested four people in connection with the investigation.
