PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A woman was injured after being shot in the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
The call came in around 2:13 p.m.
Police say the victim was shot in her lower body and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Her injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
There is no further information.
