John Evan Cash
NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk detectives said that a man who went missing Monday night was found dead in the Lafayette River Wednesday morning.
Authorities say 25-year-old John Evan Cash was last seen in the area of Granby and Thole Streets around 8 p.m.
His body was pulled from the Lafayette River in Talbot Park Tuesday.
Cash was schizophrenic, and required medication. Detectives say he was not wearing any clothes when he left his home.
Police do not suspect foul play in Cash’s death.
