CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Chesapeake Mayor Rick West outlined his vision for the city's future in the annual State of the City address.

The address was given at the Chesapeake Conference Center Tuesday afternoon.
The mayor discussed business initiatives, provided updates on city programs, outlined challenges and opportunities and provided a vision for the future.

He touched on regional cooperation during his address and the expansion of the Dollar Tree headquarters.
The address is part of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce State of the City series.
