Two teens arrested, woman faces life-threatening injuries after Hampton shooting

HAMPTON, Va. - Two teens have been arrested for their suspected connection with a shooting that has left one woman in critical condition.

Officials say police found the 20-year-old woman, who was suffering from a gunshot wound, outside a residence in the 1st block of Terri Sue Court around midnight on Wednesday.

Two 15-year-old Hampton boys were arrested.

The first teen has been charged with one count of Maiming, one count of Attempted Carjacking, two counts of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, one count of Conspiracy to Commit Carjacking, one count of Concealed Weapon, one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Juvenile, and one count of Grand Larceny of Firearm.

The second teen has been charged with one count of Maiming, one count of Attempted Carjacking, two counts of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Carjacking.

The victim remains in the hospital in critical condition.
