Police investigating after man killed in Hampton shooting

HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton Police are investigating a shooting that has left one man dead Saturday evening.

Police say the call came in just before 8 p.m. in the area of Shell Road and Greenlawn Avenue.

When officers arrived they located an adult man, identified as 37-year-old Jarrett Parker of New Jersey, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motive around this incident remains under investigation and there is no suspect information at this time.
