One person dead after train collision involving vehicle in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – One person has died as the result of a train collision involving a vehicle Saturday night.

The call for the incident came in at 10:44 p.m.

The accident happened in the 600 block of Snowden Street.

The driver was a female and the only occupant in the vehicle. The train involved was a cargo train.

On Monday officials identified the victim as 28-year-old Taylor Romanczyk of Chesapeake.
