PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Police were searching for a suspect in a shooting that left two people dead Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the 3600 block of Gateway Drive around 12:30 a.m.

When officers got there they found an adult male, 66-year-old Wilbur Giles and woman, 34-year-old Chiquita Giles, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Medics responded and pronounced the victims deceased, police said. Loved ones have set up a Gofundme for the Giles family, click here for more.
Police said 36-year-old Sheldon Marcus Porter was wanted and had warrants for two counts of 1st degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a felon.
On March 22 Porter turned himself in to authorities.
